Terminology

CD Plastering obtains personal data that is required for services. CD Plastering can source personal data directly from data subjects, via telephone and email correspondence and through cdplastering.co.uk when submitted via the contact form. Personal data is not sourced externally however CD Plastering may receive personal data from third-parties if a data subject has requested this transfer of data. Equally, CD Plastering can transfer personal data to a third-party if consented by the data subject.

Categories of personal data collected by CD Plastering include contact name, telephone number and email address. Additional information may be collected or submitted via the contact form on cdplastering.co.uk however CD Plastering does not request to receive personal sensitive data or retain bank details.

Data Protection and Retention

CD Plastering has security measures in place to protect personal data and limit access to select persons of authority. There is also a Firewall (security software) in place to protect internal information from the internet.
CD Plastering practises a 12-month retention period after which personal data is destroyed or archived; this personal data can be reviewed at any time to determine whether it is still needed which can result in the destruction of personal data prior to the deadline of the retention period. Please be aware that companies can keep personal data for longer if kept for public interest or statistical purposes.

Google Analytics

When someone visits cdplastering.co.uk a third-party service called Google Analytics is used to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This is to discover factors such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone; CD Plastering does not make, and does not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

CD Plastering may be required to process personal data for investigating, detecting and reporting crime; to demonstrate compliance and to actively comply with laws, acts and industry standards that may apply.

CD Plastering may be required to contact data subjects in support of services and to respond to enquiries. CD Plastering will not contact data subjects with marketing information.

CD Plastering does not store personal data obtained from social media interactions outside of social media platforms unless service requests or enquiries are received; the information is then covered as outlined in this statement.

Data subjects have right of access to personal data retained by CD Plastering and the right to be informed; the right to rectify retained personal data that may be incorrect; the right to erasure; the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; the right to not be subjected to automated decision making and the right to object and withdraw consent at any time.
